A 10th hole-in-one for Mike Maddux and a lesson for Rangers pitchers

(Rangers Today contributor/Greg Maddux)

SURPRISE, Ariz. — Workouts during the first 10 days of a big-league spring camp usually end early enough for players and coaches to rush to a golf course and get in 18 holes before sundown.

Such was the case Wednesday after the Rangers’ first day of camp.

Among those who played were Mike and Greg Maddux, who are pretty darn good.

“I was 5 over after four holes,” Mike Maddux, the Rangers’ pitching coach, said. “I played better after that.”

I mean could they share a little bit of the hole in ones instead of hogging them all?!

Just like how Greg Maddux is hoarding all 18 gold gloves amongst both of them
