Corey Seager traveled to Cincinnati with the Rangers as he continues his recovery from a Grade 2 strain of his left hamstring, but the shortstop is still unable to do baseball activities other than throwing.
Seager said on Sunday, following the Rangers’ 5-2 victory over the A’s, that he is keeping his arm active while also receiving blood flow restriction therapy, which is designed to increase growth hormones and muscle strength by restricting oxygen to tissue during exercise.
He isn’t sure when he’ll be back in the lineup.
