Friday on the Farm: After two tough years, Jack Leiter is learning to keep it simple

(Texas Rangers/Bailey Orr)

Eight of the nine lineup regulars during the Rangers’ run to the World Series are back this season.

All six of their 2023 All-Stars and all five of their Gold Glove finalists also return.

The player dubbed “the little savior” is back for his first full season.

Yet, the players most talked about in Rangers spring camp are the prospects.

Evan Carter is the so-called savior, and he’s technically a prospect until he surpasses the threshold for rookie status. He’s generated plenty of buzz this spring but not as much as fellow outfielder Wyatt Langford.

The young starters are generating talk, but not necessarily buzz. More like groans.
