FRISCO —Minor-league baseball is an MLB organization’s vehicle for player development.
Even though wins and losses are counted, execution outweighs winning as the No.1 goal.
That doesn’t mean a major-league organization doesn’t want its affiliates to be successful. Part of development is learning how to win and how to compete.
Jack Leiter finally gets that.
