Friday on the Farm: Rangers minor-league campers to watch

(Texas Rangers/Bailey Orr)
SURPRISE, Ariz. — The gang really is all here.
Rangers minor-league players reported for their spring training earlier this week, joining the major-league players who have been in town for full-squad workouts since Feb. 20.
Intrasquad games on the minor-league side will be played this weekend, and games against other teams begin Monday.
Industry publications unanimously agree that the Rangers have one of the deepest systems in all of baseball. They have three to six of the top 100 players in all of the minor leagues, depending on the publication.
The Rangers, naturally, are 100 percent biased about the strength of their system.
Most who follow the farm know the big names: Evan Carter, Jack Leiter, Kumar Rocker, Luisangel Acuna, Brock Porter, many others.
The following list contains players Rangers Today wants to watch. Some of them are the big names. Some of them aren’t.
But they are players who have a chance to be big-league players — just maybe not this season.
