Friday on the farm: These players, including a top prospect, are leading turnaround at High A Hickory

(Rusty Jones/Hickory Crawdads)
Something has clicked along the shores of the Catawba River.
The Hickory Crawdads entered Friday having won six of their past seven games and having scored in double-digits in four of them, including three straight. They had bludgeoned their opponents by a combined score of 58-26.
Justin Foscue, the 2020 first-rounder, helped spark the offense. He had homered in all six games since returning from a rib injury, but he also missed four games because of soreness around the rib.
So, he hasn’t been a one-man wrecking ball. First baseman Blaine Crim and outfielder Miguel Aparicio have taken off, too.
