Friday on the Farm: Top prospects taking the spotlight from some under-the-radar players making splashes in 2021

Everyone knows Josh Jung, promoted Friday to Triple A Round Rock, and Cole Winn, Justin Foscue and Sam Huff. They are among the top Texas Rangers prospects playing this season.
Jack Leiter, the No. 2 overall pick last month, isn’t going to pitch this season but is atop the new rankings of Rangers prospects.
Those rankings run 30 players deep at Baseball America and MLB.com, but that’s only scratching the surface. Organizations can have 180 active players, and somewhere in all those leftovers are some future big-leaguers.
Call them under-the-radar prospects. There are several of them in the Rangers system, but the best of the bunch might be High A first baseman Dustin Harris and Double A Frisco starting pitchers Cody Bradford and Zak Kent, who both started the season at Hickory.
