Ian Kinsler joins Rangers as special assistant. Here’s what he will be doing

Ian Kinsler retired as a player in 2019, but he’s never left the game.
As of Monday, he has a new job with his original employer.
The Texas Rangers Hall of Fame member is now a special assistant to Rangers general manager Chris Young, and it sounds like he won’t be treating it as an honorary position.
Kinsler, who was drafted by the Rangers in 2003 and played for them from 2006 to 2013, wants to help push the Rangers to their goals of winning a World Series, something he came so close to doing with them in 2011.
My favorite of all time – highly underrated and overshadowed by the 19th century thinkers (wins, RBIs, and hits types who idolized Michael Young)
