ARLINGTON — Ramon DeJesus is as quick to eject a player or coach as he is to blow a call.
The first-base umpire Thursday night gave Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien, pitching coach Mike Maddux and manager Bruce Bochy the heave in a matter of minutes between the seventh and eighth innings.
They were miffed, rightfully so according to replays, about DeJesus’ strike call on appeal against Semien in the seventh. It was the third strike for the second out and changed the game as the Rangers lost 5-3.
