Owen White took the long road to get to MLB debut with Rangers

ARLINGTON — The phone rang at midnight, and Owen White was wondering what Double A Frisco manager Carlos Cardoza could possibly want.
White had already reported that he was in Springdale, Ark., ahead of his scheduled start Tuesday night.
He was going to pitch Tuesday, just not for Frisco.
