Rangers farm report: Cole Winn returns from blister, Arizona reset

Cole Winn returned to the mound Wednesday afternoon at Salt Lake City.

The right-hander had been on the injured list with a blister and in Arizona to get some repairs to his delivery and his approach.

The hope, aside from getting the blister healed, was to get Winn back on the road to the major leagues after being derailed in 2022 and to start this season.

The results were similar to what they had been before he hit the IL — three runs on four hits and five walks in 3 1/3 innings as Triple A Round Rock won a wild one, 11-9. He did lower his ERA … from 9.17 to 8.49.

Yikes.
