Rangers farm report: Sebastian Walcott bumped to Arizona for season reset

Sebastian Walcott was the prize of the Rangers’ international haul in January, and he wowed at minor-league spring training despite not turning 17 until March 14.
He was almost always going to be promoted to the Arizona Complex League after opening play in the Dominican Summer League, and that happened last week even though he was batting only .161.
Those clearly aren’t numbers worth of a bump, but there was more at play than what the stats showed.
