Rangers’ lineup to be different for ALCS Game 6, just not at the top

If Bruce Bochy has shown anything this postseason, it’s that he isn’t afraid to shuffle the Rangers’ lineup.
Evan Carter, for instance, has gone from batting ninth to fifth to third since the wild-card round.
Jonah Heim has batted as high as fifth but was dropped to ninth for Game 5 of the American League Championship Series. Mitch Garver batted eighth after batting as high as third.
They helped spark to potential rallies from the bottom of the order.
“They did what we were hoping they’d do,” Bochy said.
But where Bochy doesn’t seem willing to change things up is where change might be most needed, in the leadoff spot.
