ANAHEIM, Calif. — Martin Perez isn’t thinking about what will happen with him over the next four days before the Tuesday trade deadline.
He’s thinking about a contract extension, and he pitched Friday night like he was trying to land one.
That could happen soon.
By every account Gallo is a super guy. But separating the man from his production on the field shouldn’t be difficult. I feel bad for the guy like most. But I do not want him on the team I root for. That said, I hope he proves me wrong somewhere else.
