Rangers notes: Max Scherzer didn’t last long in Game 7 but made one critical pitch

The Rangers scored three times Monday night in the first inning of Game 7 of the American League Championship Series, but the Astros didn’t seem to be terribly discouraged.
They scored a quick run against right-hander Max Scherzer and were threatening for more with Michael Brantley at the plate with one out. Scherzer needed to make a pitch, and he did.
