Rangers’ offseason plans include finding a manager and pitching, pitching, pitching

ARLINGTON — What was said Friday afternoon at Globe Life Field wasn’t anything the Rangers haven’t said at previous end-of-season press conferences.
The plan is to contend next season.
The primary need starting pitching.
Thanks, fans, and hang in there.
But a new voice was delivering the message.
Do you think Edwin Diaz might be on the radar is that kind of deal too much $ for a reliever?
I’m not sure Diaz is in the plans based on what Chris Young said last week. Then again, maybe he was just downplaying interest.
