More catching up to do with Rangers Today Baseball Podcast, Episodes 94-95
DUNCANVILLE — Time flies when you’re having fun, and the Rangers Today Baseball Podcast has been having fun the past few weeks.
The annual Do It For Durrett fundraiser was Aug. 25, which forced the podcast to disrupt its recording schedule for a wonderful cause. We also coaxed former Rangers general manager Jon Daniels, a DIFD board member, to come on the show and share his thoughts on the foundation.
He also talked a bit about his exit from the Rangers and his duties now with the Rays on Episode 94, which also included a visit from Rangers Nation’s Jake DuPre.
Episode 95 is only days old. John Moore and I talked to Rangers TV play-by-play man Dave Raymond about the state of the club, which wasn’t very good Friday and was only mildly better at press time on Labor Day.
A chat with Dave is always a fun time, and he had an interesting idea for how the Rangers should use Nathan Eovaldi whenever he returns.
