FORT WORTH — As an experienced traveler, I know that there are certain hotels in American League cities where cellphone coverage and internet service is spotty. The Renaissance Center in Detroit comes to mind.
So, too, does the Rangers’ team hotel in Seattle, where first baseman Nate Lowe battled all kinds of signal disruptions during his first appearance on the Rangers Today Baseball Podcast.
But we persevered, between my expletive-filled outbursts at every lost connection, to produce a high-quality show. He’s a funny dude, and he was very honest about how he feels about his 2022 campaign. He feels he’s a better player than a year ago, but again sees room for improvement.
Lowe also has some good stories about his draft day and his MLB debut.
