Rangers World Series rings are real, and they’re spectacular

The World Series rings to be given to Rangers players and staff Saturday night pay homage to the team’s run to the franchise’s first championship with dozens of diamonds, sapphires and rubies.

The key feature is a removable top with reversible Texas logos and a display of the team’s 11-0 postseason road record that reads “ROAD dominance” and uses the logos of the four teams the Rangers beat to spell road.

One of the reversible logos is made of 103 blue sapphires, representing the team’s total wins in 2023, and 23 rubies to acknowledge the year of the title.

The other T logo is red with 49 ruby points for every member of the 2023 team.

A 2.33-carat diamond is a nod to the Rangers’ regular-season home-run total. Sixteen emerald-cut diamonds mark the 16 postseason homers.

Rings are personalized with each player’s name, number and autograph on one side. The opposite side has the saying “Went and Took It” and the Commissioner’s Trophy with a 3-millimeter diamond.

Some 60 players and staff members received a sneak preview of the rings Friday night.

Not a ring guy, but these rings are incredible. Amazing level of detail.
