Remain calm. All is well: Rangers, for now, not worried about Jacob deGrom scratch

Maybe I’m showing my age here, but my first thought after hearing Rangers general manager Chris Young talk Wednesday about Jacob deGrom’s side issue was of Kevin Bacon’s character, Chip Diller, from Animal House.
Young was in the early-riot phase of Chip, who was kindly and calmly telling parade attendees, “Remain calm. All is well,” shortly after the Delta House starting making a mockery of the Faber College homecoming parade.
Anyone who has seen the 1978 classic knows that Chip’s demeanor deteriorates as the riot gets worse and worse, until, finally, he is stampeded by the crowd and flattened like a pancake.
All is well. Don’t worry. He will get 150-200 innings this year with a sub 2.25 ERA. I’m calling him to get 185 innings with a 1.85 ERA. Why? I’m just hoping for the best and expecting the best.
