T.R.’s Memoirs: Top 50 course-altering decisions in Rangers history (Part II)

Editor’s note: T.R. Sullivan covered the Texas Rangers over 32 years for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and MLB.com and is sharing his “memoirs” with Rangers Today. This week, he looks at the 50 biggest decisions in club history in a two-part list that start in 1973 and runs through 2018.

The biggest decision ever made concerning the Texas Rangers was made by owner Bob Short, who decided in 1971 to move the team from Washington D.C. Without that, there would be no Texas Rangers.

But once they arrived, there have been hundreds and hundreds of decisions that impacted the franchise: ownership sales, managerial changes, trades, free-agent signings and more.

Here are the second half of the 50 of the biggest decisions ever made in Rangers history. This isn’t a ranking of which ones are most important, but a chronicological list that started with the 1973 MLB Draft and picked up in Part II with .
