PHOENIX — Cameras are everywhere these days.
They caught Rangers pitching coach Mike Maddux saying something colorful about Arizona’s Tommy Pham during Game 2 of the World Series. That one, though, didn’t generate nearly the same interest as manager Bruce Bochy’s comment after the Rangers won the American League Division Series.
“Hedgie, what’s the number on your ass right now?” Bochy said before the beer and champagne flowed.
The answer, it turns out was eight.
So, what was on his derriere anyway?
Might be the only time in my life when I’ve actually wanted to see a man’s ass.
