HOUSTON — Another day, another Rangers roster move.

The reigning world champions placed left-handed starter Cody Bradford on the 15-day injured list with a lower back strain and recalled right-hander Cole Winn from Triple A Round Rock.

Michael Lorenzen, though, will take Bradford’s spot in the rotation Monday to open a four-game series at Detroit. The right-hander was an All-Star last season for the Tigers.

Manager Bruce Bochy said that the Rangers are still planning to use a spot starter this week, likely Wednesday or Thursday, and prospect Jack Leiter is a candidate.
