Texas Rangers farm report: Ezequiel Duran, minor-league doubles leader, generating big-league talk

(Frisco RoughRiders)
When a team is as talented as Double A Frisco, just about any player can stand out.
Several have so far this season, including a breakthrough performance by infielder Jonathan Ornelas.
Considering how he finished 2021, Ezequiel Duran is having a breakthough, too.
That might sound strange to say about a top-10 Rangers prospect — he’s ranked No.4 by Baseball America — but Duran didn’t have a great showing at High A Hickory after he was acquired in the Joey Gallo trade.
That has been memory-holed through the 39 games of the season.
