Worn down by negotiating a five-year, $185 million contract for Jacob deGrom, Rangers general manager Chris Young sounded tired Friday night in a conference call with beat writers.
He spoke of a lack of sleep, something that afflicts baseball executives this time of year.
The bad news for Young is it’s not going to get any better this week.
