The Sunday Read: Objective is clear for Rangers in the regular-season finale

A postseason berth of any kind was worth celebrating Saturday night for the Texas Rangers, who the past two seasons lost 102 and 94 games.
Not hangover-worthy celebrating, though.
While the Rangers might have soaked themselves in beer and cheap champagne, manager Bruce Bochy suggested that they keep their livers relatively dry.
The Rangers still have a game to win today.
Nothing seems to come easy for this team. Best offense in the league, by the numbers, gets shutout for the 2nd time in 3 days. Hopefully the good bats are on the flight across the country.
