The Sunday Read: Young pitchers, one veteran among early stars of Rangers camp

Two games, two losses so far this spring for the Rangers, but, of course, the record doesn’t matter.

Health is all that matters early on, but a little performance is welcome.

Position players, though, haven’t even been working out together for a full week. Nevertheless, some have made favorable early impressions.

Evan Carter, Robbie Grossman and Justin Foscue have been named by club officials and coaches.

Those same officials and coaches have been around the pitchers longer. So when Rangers Today did an informal poll of which players impressed the most leading to the start of Cactus League play.

Each pitcher listed below received at least three votes from a panel of 10.
