Thomas Saggese bags another hit on Rangers Today Baseball Podcast

DUNCANVILLE — Thomas Saggese has been the best hitter this season at Double A Frisco.
He also has four grand slams and leads the RoughRiders in home runs, which is saying something for a guy who started slow after his arrival to spring training was delayed.
He still doesn’t use batting gloves.
The infielder has caught the attention of everyone who matters in the Rangers organization, and he has fans on the big-league coaching staff for his ability to consistently hit the ball hard.
Where he finishes the season is TBD, but he could use the new challenge that Triple A Round Rock would offer.
Saggese, the fifth-round pick in the five-round 2020 MLB Draft, remains grounded and isn’t looking to far ahead or at the trade deadline next week. He has work to do, and he’s been doing it well.
