Time has come to make changes to Rangers’ bullpen

ARLINGTON — No matter who has been called on the Rangers’ bullpen phone the past three weeks, it’s been the wrong answer.
Everyone knows the names, having cursed them repeatedly.
One exception is Cody Bradford, the left-hander recalled Friday from Triple A Round Rock. With two scoreless appearances, he rates as the Rangers’ hottest relief arm. Chris Stratton, acquired from the Cardinals along with Jordan Montgomery, is among the least booed.
And that’s it.
Every time it looks as if the bullpen has hit rock bottom, the relievers find a way to blow another lead or let a close game get out of hand. Their performance Sunday was a fiasco.
Rangers brass is trying to ride out the storm, but the boat continues to take on water and is sinking fast.
It’s time to find someone else to try to plug the holes.
