Top 100 prospect Owen White visits Rangers Today Baseball Podcast
DUNCANVILLE — Owen White probably didn’t want to be on the Rangers Today Baseball Podcast last week the morning after he pitched.
It wasn’t his best start of the season for Double A Frisco, and a pitcher always has some aches and pains after throwing a bunch of pitches.
But the right-hander, one of the top 100 prospects in the game according to Baseball America, sucked it up and cracked me and John Moore up for around 25 minutes from the lobby of his team hotel in Arkansas while we were at the Premier Properties Studio.
As always this season, the guest segment was sponsored by the Frisco RoughRiders. It was a frank conversation at times as White talked about his season. He’s not happy with it but is seeing progress with his arm strength and mechanics.
